Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of propfirmalert.com (the “Site”), operated by Prop Firm ALert LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Site. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.
2. The service
The Site provides editorial, journalistic and informational content about the online prop-trading industry, including a newsletter and a tip-line. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
3. Not advice
Content is for general information only and is not financial, investment, trading, legal, tax or other professional advice. See our Disclaimer. You are solely responsible for decisions you make.
4. Tips & user submissions
- You are responsible for, and represent that you have the right to share, anything you submit (tips, reports, documents, screenshots, comments).
- By submitting material you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, adapt and publish it for journalistic and related purposes, including in anonymized or excerpted form.
- Do not submit material that is unlawful, defamatory without basis, infringing, or that you are contractually barred from sharing.
- Submissions are not confidential unless sent through a channel we designate as secure; see our contact page. We protect sources as described in our Editorial Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Site or its security; scrape or harvest data except as permitted; impersonate others; submit spam or malware; or use the Site to harass any person. We may remove content and restrict access at our discretion.
6. Intellectual property
The Site’s content, design and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may share links and brief quotations with attribution; you may not republish substantial portions without permission. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners (see Disclaimer §8).
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact legal@propfirmalert.com with the details required under applicable law (identification of the work, the material, your contact details and a good-faith statement).
8. Disclaimers of warranty
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your submissions or your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Chicago will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
